Ravda
Small seaside resort with ecologically clean nature
Ravda is a small seaside resort on the Black Sea, located 3 km from Nessebar and 5 km from Sunny Beach. The position on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, excellent climatic conditions, quietness and calmness of a country village and the proximity to the attractive resorts Nesebar and Sunny Beach makes this place a superb summer spot. Ravda has ecologically clean air and water because the resort is far from the big cities and industrial zones. There are no dangerous species such as sharks, poisonous jelly-fish, scorpions, killer snakes, poisonous spiders, or flies. The resort offers sporting facilities, and fine sandy beaches with a life-guard, umbrellas and deckchairs on the beach. In the centre of Ravda, there is a multifunctional building with a fitness centre, library, post office and health centre. In the summer, there are sporting schools for yachting, water skiing, wind surfing, rowing and swimming.
The average temperature of the air in summer are 25 °C (71 °F), sea is 23 °C. The summer season starts in May and ends in October. Ravda's beaches have fine sand, sunshades are provided for the tourists and there are qualified lifeguards on duty. The cafes and bars near the seaside offer refreshing drinks.
