A new 27 million euro-worth holiday village for Borovets

     Bulgarian Land Development company (BLD) is to start a new project in Borovets, to be named Riverland Ski and Leisure Resort, which will comprise a 27 million euro holiday development.
     The 56 000 sq m plot was acquired at the turn of 2007 for 4.7 million euro. The total built-up area of the village will be 60 000 sq m. It will have nine four-storey residential buildings, housing 820 apartments and a 120 room apart-hotel. Vector Management will manage the project and architectural bureau HoK will work out the design.
     Construction will begin in spring next year and will be conducted in two stages. Phase one involves erecting the hotel section and several residential buildings and will be completed two years after the turning of the first sod. BLD has already put up the units for off-plan sale at preferential prices of 1200 euro a sq m.
