Bulgaria's new ambassador to Russia Plamen Grozdanov suggested the opening of a tourism representative office in Moscow.By the end of the year 200 000 Russians would receive tourists visas for a visit to Bulgaria, Darik Radio reported.
Bulgarian and Russian business representatives discussed the options for co-operation in other economic spheres.
Moscow already approved a number of major regional projects. Bulgaria could take part in some of them as a supplier or sub-contractor, Darik reported.
Grozdanov said the two countries could also consider the creation of joint companies, producing goods not only for the Bulgarian and Russian markets but for third countries as well. Bulgarian companies that decided to invest in Russia were going to receive the support of the embassy, said Grozdanov.
The contracts of companies that had representation in the industrial centre of Bulgaria in Moscow were going to be re-examined, said Grozdanov. Unprofitable contracts were going to be cancelled, Grozdanov said.
