
Bulgaria GDP Grew 6,2 per cent in 2007

Bulgaria's GDP grew with 6,2% in 2007 compared to 2006 according to preliminary data of the Bulgarian National Statistical Institute, reported by the Bulgarian News Agency BTA.In 2007 Bulgaria's GDP amounted to BGN 56,5 B in current prices. Calculated in euro, the GDP is EUR 28,9 B, which is EUR 3 753,5 per capita.
The country's GDP in the fourth quarter amounted to BGN 16,3 B, or BGN 2123,2 per capita. This equals USD 12,1 B, and EUR 8,3 B respectively.
The real volume of Bulgaria's GDP in the fourth quarter of 2007 grew with 6,9% compared to the fourth quarter of 2006.
