Bulgaria will be one of the top property markets in Europe during 2006
Open Press Release, 2006-02-14
According to the prognosis the property prices in Bulgaria will increase by 15 per cent in 2006, the highest increase any European country will experience in the coming year.
Apart from its expected EU membership, the country is developing infrastructure, which in turn will increase property prices.
With prices from as little as 15,000 pounds for a two bed roomed house on the outskirts of Borovets (a major ski resort) Its not difficult to see the reason why property in Bulgaria sells so quickly.
Described as "ideal for a budget ski property", Bulgaria is recommended for its season lasting from mid-December to late April and the challenge that its slopes offer for the occasional skier and for those with little experience.
During the summer this sparsely populated, largely rural country offers a wealth of activities such as hiking, fishing and mountain biking, as well as the fabulous beaches of the Black Sea coast. The numerous historic towns, unspoilt villages, castles and churches are also waiting to be explored.
