Bulgarian officials take part in Economist summit

     Bulgarian Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev takes part in the “Greece, Bulgaria and Romania: Business and Investments – relations consolidation at the EU threshold” summit in the Greek capital Athens, government’s press office announced.
     The forum that is organized by the Economist magazine also hosts the other countries government heads, the EU Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn and business representatives.
     Bulgarian delegation includes three ministers and other officials will take part in the discussions of the situation before EU accession. EU Affairs Minister will make statement in the discussion of the difficulties before accession and will give Bulgaria’s priorities in the foreign policy. The economic climate in the region in the next decade will be the topic of the meeting where Plamen Oresharski, Bulgarian Finance Minister takes part.
     Environment, tourism, energy and telecommunications cooperation are also among the others issues in the conference.
