Cost of Dobrinishte skiing zone development to reach 260 mln levs

     Local company Dobrinishte Ski said the skiing zone it is developing between the city of Dobrinishte and the Bezbog peak in the Pirin mountain, South-western Bulgaria, will cost 260 mln levs. The three-year project has earned Dobrinishte Ski a First Class Investor certificate from InvestBulgaria, the local investment promotion authority. The 300,000 sq m Dobrinishte skiing zone will have 40 km of runs and 10,000 beds in accommodations facilities ranging from 3 to 5 stars. The investor is drafting the masterplan of the site and should submit it for review by the Bansko municipality.
     Construction is due to kick off in September 2007. The investor said it will contribute around 100 mln levs of the project cash with the remainder coming as external financing.
