EasyJet Landed in Sofia, Bulgaria

     The first plane of "EasyJet", the leading European budget airline, landed in Sofia, Bulgaria. Traditionally the first passengers were met, according to the Bulgarian customs - with bread and salt. At the same time the first passangers, taking off from Bulgaria to London were happy to try from a large cake in the shape of "EasyJet" Plane.
     The largest part of the passengers (62%) took the flight to London to visit friends and families. The survey also shows 14 % were going on vacation and 24 % were traveling for business.
     On the destination Sofia - London Gatwick flew 95 % Bulgarians and 5 % Britains. 31 % of the passangers were 25 to 35 years of age.
     "We are happy that , Bulgaria joined the family of EasyJet, which already has its 23 European memners", Peter Voets, marketing manager for Switzerland, Austria and Eastern Europe says. "EasyJet offers low-budget flights, which are comfortable as well. We expect EasyJet to carry more than 50 000 passengers for the first year on London Gatwick - Sofia destination.
