Finland Opens Consulate in Bulgaria's Black Sea Varna

     Finnish Ambassador Kauko Jamsen officially presented Monday the country's honorary consul in the Black Sea town of Varna Krassimir Ganchev.
     Ganchev will be in charge of a region, covering the districts of Shumen, Dobrich, Varna and Burgas.
     Finland's honorary consulate in Varna was opened just as the Scandinavian country took over EU presidency from Austria.
     "It is a great honour for me to serve as Finland's honorary consul and work for improving the relations between the two countries in the region of Eastern Bulgaria," Krassimir Ganchev said.
     Among his priorities he singled out bringing more Finnish tourists and investors to Bulgaria.
