Foreign Tourists Spent EUR 601 M in Bulgaria in January-May 2008

     The Chair of Bulgaria's State Tourism Agency Aneliya Krushkova announced Sunday that foreign tourists had spent EUR 601 M in Bulgaria during the first five months of 2008.
     This is an increase of 12,7% compared to January-May of 2007.
     In her words, in January-June of 2008 Bulgaria had attracted 17,4% more foreign tourists compared to the same period of 2007.
     According to Krushkova, Bulgaria would register an impressive growth in the number of foreign tourists at the end of 2008.
