French investors are going to survey our winter resorts Borovets and Vitosha

     Representatives of large French companies are coming to Bulgaria from the 6th to the 10th of December to have a close look at the projects for development of the winter resorts Borovets and Vitosha. This was announced by the executive director of “Balkantourist” Ms. Nedjalka Sandalska, who is also a tourist manager in “MG Corporation” (owner of hotel “Rila” and “Borosport” joint-stock company, which is managing the pistes and ski equipment in Borovets). The delegation is coming with the cooperation of Balkantourist. It is led by the director of the association France Neige International Gerard Bowie.
     The representatives will be introduced to the project “Samokov- Borovets- Beli Iskur” (known as “Super Borovets Project”) and Vitosha Mountain. According to Ms. Sandalska they are interested in the investment possibilities. Their program includes visiting sites in Borovets and Vitosha. They will attend a meeting in Samokov municipality, on which architect Petko Evrev is going to present them the project “Super Borovets” and the social community for the development of the project. They will also meet the vice- minister of economy Dimitur Hadjinikolov and the Prime minister Simeon SaxCoburgotski. Several Italian companies also show interest in the project “Super Borovets”.
     France Neige International is one of the main organizers of the Winter Olympic Games in Shamoni 1924, Grenoble 1968, Albervil 1992. It will also be the organizer of the Ski World Championship in Val d’Iser in 2009.
