
Holiday properties in Bulgaria are half the price of those in Romania

An apartment in the Carpathians has a price 70 per cent higher than the price of an apartment in some of Bulgaria's mountain resorts.Holiday properties on the Romanian Black Sea cost twice as much as similar venues on the Bulgarian coasts, said the Romanian Hotnews, as quoted by investor.bg.Mountain properties in Romania are even more expensive - an apartment in the Carpathians has a price 70 per cent higher than the price of an apartment in some of Bulgaria's mountain resorts.
A two-bedroom apartment in Varna could be purchased for 43 000 euro. In the Romanian resort Mamaia the same property would cost as much as 120 000 euro.
Bulgaria's property market could hardly maintain attractive price levels for investors, even in resorts, said the Romanian publication. Rental levels in the two countries are similar, Hotnews reported.
