
Improvements at Bulgaria's Coastal Airports Ease Tourists

Bulgaria's coastal airports have undertaken different measures to ease the passengers' serving process.The Transport Ministry announced that two additional desks have been opened at the Burgas Airport "International lines - Departure". The new desks are equipped with automatic check-in and the luggage system and the X-ray apparatus.
Part of the served passengers will be redirected to the second floor of the airport where they will be able to wait for their flight after passing the border and customs checks. The airport offers to the passengers improved conditions, the ministry explained.
A special passage to the "International lines - Arrival" terminal is also being constructed at the Burgas airport thus increasing the capacity of the two terminals by 30%. The investments in the terminals will reach BGN 1,2 M.
The northern Varna Airport is also being subjected to improvements. The passengers' zone is being expanded, thus increasing its efficiency by 40%. Five new check-in systems have also been fitted thus increasing their number to 18. The luggage bands at the Varna Airport have been extended as well. A business salon has been readied for the passengers using the business class in the regular flights.
Both Burgas and Varna Airports take pride in improved parking lots.
