Industrial property transactions on the rise
Property Wise Bulgaria, 2007-04-03
Plots in Varna can reach EUR 100 a sq.m., which is partly due to a more limited supply. The first quarter of 2007 confirmed earlier forecasts of increased foreign interest in industrial properties and land. Most investors are still in the research phase, so the supply of land for the construction of warehouses, logistics centres and industrial plants remains high.More than 100 plots are offered in the western and eastern industrial zones in Rousse, a port on the Danube. The average prices there are EUR 53 and EUR 37 respectively, investor.bg reports.
The prices for such plots along the Black Sea Coast vary wildly, In Bourgas they range from EUR 18 per sq m in Sarafovo to EUR 50 in the industrial zones. Plots in Varna can cost twice as much, which is partly due to a more limited supply. There are 150 such plots offered in Bourgas and only 80 in Varna.
Sofia remains most attractive for investors. Industrial land plots on sale are about 1000.
