
Mini Town for One Billion Levs Built Downtown Sofia

A mini town for one billion levs will be built in one of Sofia's residential districts by 2012. The investment in the multifunctional complex which is to be constructed in the center of Sofia will exceed one billion levs. Yesterday, the Bulgarian Investment Agency handed the Sofia Acropolis company a first class investor certificate. The owner is Vilnius Acropolis, a firm from Lithuania. The project will be realized on 20 ha from the territory of Balkancar - 6 September plant. The investor has paid 8 million euro for part of the plant's shares and the site. There will be a residential micro area of 350000 square meters, a commercial complex of 98 000 square meters, a hypermarket, cinema halls, skating rinks.
