
PM Stanishev: EUR 1.4 Billion Investments for H1 of 2006

The foreign investments for the first six months of the year in Bulgaria are more than EUR 1.4 billion and according to data from the Bulgarian Central Bank the economic growth of the country is larger than expected and overlaps 6%, the Prime Minister Sergey Stansihev announced in the town of Botevgrad where he was present at the opening a factory of Siemens concern for production of transformers.The company has invested BGN 4 million and opened 60 employment positions. "The oepneing of the plant is a sign for the confidence to our country, to the business climate in it, to the quality of the workers and the ability to work in accordance with the EU standards", the Prime Minister Sergey Stansihev announced cited by Darik Radio.
