The village is located 11 km. away from the beautiful town of Kyustendil. It is one hour drive from the capital of Bulgaria-Sofia and the main international airport.
     It is situated at the foot of marvelous Osogovo mountain impressing with its clear and preserved nature, good ski pistes offering perfect conditions for winter sport and tourism.
     The village is very close to the town of Kyustendil- place of beauty, health and history. Every visitor will be impressed by the monuments of different historic times left by Thracians, Romans, Byzantine, Bulgarians, Muslims, and the very impressive sights from Bulgarian national revival. Here you can see parts of ancient walls, mosaics, mediaeval churches and mosques, typical buildings of the Bulgarian renaissance, masterpieces of Bulgarian artists and sculptors like Vladimir Dimitrov the Master and many other. The town is also renowned for its numerous mineral water springs, known from ancient times for curative qualities. They are 40 in number, the hottest one is 73.4 C degrees and all of them are used for the treatment of different diseases- of locomotory system, peripheral nervous system, gynecological diseases and for prevention of many other illnesses. There are many sanatoriums and open air pools with mineral water where you can relax and perform different procedures.
     The village itself has all the conveniences for modern life-post, school, shops, and places of entertainment, cable television and Internet are also available.
