The village is just 19 km. away from Borovets, 12 km. away from Maliovitsa and approx. one hour drive from the capital Sofia and the main international airport. It is in the foot of Rila mountain, next to Iskar river, surrounded by very beautiful nature. The region is a favourable holiday destination, not only in winter but also in summer season, because it is also close to one of the biggest and most beautiful dams. In summer when the weather is hot you could enjoy the cool water of the dam. The area is also suitable for fishing and hunting and it is wonderful place to spend your holidays. The village is quite popular, because of its location and is visited by many tourists.
